Jamica is a Licensed Master Social Worker, who received a Master’s degree with a concentration in Advanced Clinical Practice from Walden University. She had the opportunity to work with the Department of Family and Children Services for over 9 years, serving as a foster care and adoption case manager to children from diverse backgrounds who experienced traumatic events in their lives, causing them to battle with depression, anxiety, attachment and bonding issues, and societal and environmental stressors. She is currently in training to become a Registered Play Therapist.
Jamica’s belief is that listening is key in developing any successful therapeutic relationship. She is confident and capable in helping your child on their therapeutic journey. Her approach combines strength therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and solution-focused therapy to ensure a positive outcome. She encourages her clients to be patient with the process and trust that this will be time for them to shine. She will be there to guide and support every step of the way.
