Heather Arslanian, APC

Heather is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of West Georgia and a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University. Heather provides therapy to children, teens, and adults, and is pursuing the path to become a Registered Play Therapist. Heather integrates child-centered and cognitive behavioral approaches when working with children and their parents. She also incorporates creative outlets such as art and music to help clients express thoughts and feelings in a safe environment. Her experience includes helping children with decreased academic performance, lying and/or manipulation, negative self-image, increased emotional sensitivity, low frustration tolerance, social difficulties, destroying property, and angry outbursts. When she is not helping her clients, she spends time with her children and enjoys hiking, gardening, and travel.

Heather is practicing under the supervision of Alzi Faubion, LPC, CPCS, RPT-S.
