Dimetrius Perrymond, LPC

Dimetrius is a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She obtained a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Mercer University. Dimetrius enjoys working with families, children, and adolescents. She has a wide variety of experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, self-harm/ suicidal ideation, ADHD, ASD related challenges and developmental disabilities. 

Dimetrius works from an eclectic framework incorporating person centered and cognitive behavioral therapies to promote healing, resilience and growth. Dimetrius’ approach to therapy is to create a safe and supportive environment where clients can address their mental health needs without judgment. She strives to assist clients and their families process emotions and learn coping skills to elevate everyday stressors and symptoms.  She has specialized training in dialectical behavioral therapy. Dimetrius is currently in training to become a Registered Play Therapist.
