Adia earned her M.S. in School Counseling from Mercer University and her B.S. in Psychology from Spelman College. With over a decade of experience in the social services and mental health fields, Adia has provided critical clinical support across diverse settings, including emergency shelters, domestic violence crisis centers, and educational institutions.
Her therapeutic style blends structure with profound empathy, utilizing a strengths-based approach to empower clients. Adia has received extensive training in Play Therapy and is pursuing the Registered Play Therapist (RPT) credential. Additionally, Adia is trained in Trauma – Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Adia utilizes a collaborative, strengths-based framework to help clients overcome adversity and build sustainable coping skills. Adia provides a safe, nurturing environment to foster healing, resilience, and personal growth.
In her personal time, Adia enjoys playing with her dog Prada, a 2 year old Yorkie, and exploring antique shops in the Atlanta area.
