Zoria Williams, APC
Zoria is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of West Georgia and her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State University.
Zoria is passionate about providing clients with more than just a listening ear. She takes the time to understand each person’s story, empathize with their experiences, and meet them where they are. She recognizes that every client brings unique experiences, strengths, and challenges into the therapeutic space and believes therapy should honor each person’s individual journey.
Zoria creates a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where clients can feel comfortable expressing their authentic selves, developing healthy coping skills, and working through life’s challenges collaboratively. She brings a warm, encouraging, and positive energy to the therapeutic process while allowing each client’s individual needs and goals to guide their work together.
Using an eclectic approach, Zoria incorporates evidence-based techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to best support each client. She is also currently completing training toward becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
Outside of the office, Zoria enjoys spending time with family and friends, showing off her competitive side through sports, playing the keyboard, watching movies and TV shows, and staying open to trying new hobbies and experiences.
Zoria practices under the supervision of Julie Evans, LPC, CPCS.
